I read this story from the beginning but didn't not review every chapter, but I loved it. Even when it had me close to tears, lol! Happy that Penelope survived her surgery with the one lung and happy that Derek supports her decision at the end of this chapter. :)

This is a great story. I am just gating into watching criminal minds in the cast few months, and then decided to look at the stories that were around here. I was glad to see your name, I know you are a great writer, so seeing what you could do with these characters is great too. I fell in love with Derek Morgan the second I started watching, and knew this would be an awesome pairing as well. HP is good to, but not as awesome as this.

What an absolutely perfect ending to this story. I love the balance between their intimacy and the trust between them when they talk about the transplant.
Bringing in the option of the transplant and thus opening up their future like that was one of the things that elevated this ending.
The best lines for me though:
"You're so beautiful," she moaned against him.
"Isn't that my line?" he asked with tired humor.
"I stole it," she replied.
Lovely ... and very much them!
Well done.

Possibly the best ending you could've given this =) It had the HEA already driven into it, but her getting the transplate was the icing on the cake... loved it, hon, and I cannot wait to see what else you have =)

I LOVE YOU.
It is official you are my absolute favourite person ever in the history of the world.
Oh I just adored it, from the very start with Derek's sadness at Penelope's inability to conceive... Poor sweet man and then the hope, the lung - oh it was so heartbreakingly gorgeous... The hopefulness of it all and the thought of having children...
But that wasn't the extent of my worship for this ending as you know I am a BIG fan of steamy Penelope and Derek and that my dear was just amazing, the wau he teased her but then she had the power to tease him, what a delicious little game...
Oh and the final section, when Derek told her about the letter, I just adored the moment when he told her that it would be her choice... What a perfect moment, ending on an I love you was just wonderful (you know how I loved each and every utterance of that little potent combo in this story)
Those final sentences ' they would be be on their path together, chasing away the darkest of nights' - Oh adorable and a perfect way to tie in both the stories.
In summary I have really enjoyed this story. Whilst at times I have complained about your endless teasing and refusal to make things work between them , I have learnt to always have faith in your writing and to know that there will always be a happy ever after.
After reading Comfort in The Darkness you know I couldn't wait to read this to see what you did with them both and I have to say that whatever it was that I was expecting, as usual you managed to take me totally by surprise with Evil Kevin - a great touch, particualarly as it meant that after a few up and downs, our sexy action man beautiful chocolate adonis could come to the rescue... Oh I am in love... and eagerly awaiting this next story you mentioned.
Know this, as long as it's got your name attached to it I will always be assured of its brilliance...

Awww, sweet and steamy too. The last part with them just lounging in the tub was especially sweet. Great ending and loved the whole story!
