This one gets more and more fascinating. By the way, in analogy to Germany the name of Northern Japan would be Japanese Democratic Republic (JDR), but I guess you went more in analogy to Corea here ... As for history, isn't there any detailed history book available in Makoto's school library (not to mention the possibilties of the Internet - wikipedia comes to mind ...). The secondary plots (like Ami's problems) add up quite nicely - just make sure you don't lose it in too much complexity.
Anyway I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

I love this story. I have to admit though, Mako's little sister Chiyo is starting to get on my nerves. Sometimes I think she's worse than Chibiusa!

Although, I've been thinking on this for a few chapters now,if Usagi's name is now Usagi Hino (meaing Rabbit of Fire) and Rei's name is Rei Tsukino (meaning Spirit of the Moon)wouldn't that mess with their powers slightly? just curious.

I hope you update again soon!

So I've been reading this over on your website, shoujofiction.com, and I must say this story keeps impressing me with its twists. You've managed to keep the characters familiar, but at the same time everything seems skewed or backwards. Chapter 9 especially was a big eye-opener for me on just how different this universe is. I can't wait for the next update from you guys. :)

Ja ne!

Interesting concept for a story... time travel can certainly cause some major changes! Can't wait to find out more about Mako's life in this alternate reality!

hmm, you entitle current Japan as "federal republic" here - far as I know Japan is still a constitutional monarchy. Slip on your side or part of the storyline?

What a very interesting concept you have here. I think the lesson here, at least for the last few chapters, is to beware what you wish for, because you just might get it. Oh, and that time travel is both inherently unpredictable and absurdly dangerous, and that any tiny change early in time could have massive unforeseen consequences downstream. I'm very interested in seeing what happens with Makoto in her new 'present' and how she resolves her situation. Also, your writing is quite superb in both the technical aspects (grammar and spelling) and in the way you use it to portray the compelling dialogue that ties the story together. Overall, I think you've done an excellent job here, and I definitely would like to see more of this.

... Wow! I have to say, I should have expected this but I totally didn't. XD She even has a younger sister? Amazing...I wonder what else has changed! I wonder if Makoto's parents will notice any changes in her too. I mean, obviously the death of her parents must have changed her some way or another.

You know, this was already one of the more interesting Makoto centric stories here, but you just took that to a whole new level. I can't wait for the update now! :)

Wow, this is a really interesting setting. I wonder what'll happen next though, I've never seen a fanfic take this route! It's very well written too and is easy to read, and all the characters are spot-on really. Update, onegai. ^^

Ja ne!

very interesting start for the story, i am very curious about the rest.

how long do you think is the story going to be? or do you just write without plot?

You were one of the greats back in the day. Epic storylines and extremely detailed at that. Very Usagi-Chibi-usa centric which is rare. You guys were one of the few who took it as far as you did, very much appreciated by at least this reader.

Glad to see you're still around. I'll be reading!
