Excellent chapter as usual. I am glad to see that you are writing Dragon Age stories now. You've done an excellent job with this story, I can't wait to see more.
You were able to capture everyone's emotion very well and give more meaning to the conversation that were spoken. The character have a more indepth personality now then what was in the story.
Keep up the excellent work.

I do like this beginnning, you added on part of the converstations in the game, and had some of the other characters say what Hawke said, Not to mention I like the descriptions, of Hawke and her family, not to mention what happened. I haven't really thought that Carver blamed the grey wardens as well (it would be interesting if the grey warden that lit the signal fire would've been Amell from the Human Mage origin) Anyway great start love to see what you do next
