I don't know if you intended this but to me the lions pride seemed a bit like a bickering bunch of immature children not the battle hardened veterans I've always seen them as. If you were trying to make them appear to have a really good work off on switch I unfortunately didn't get that feel and to be honest they kinda pissed me off a bit.
Just a observation and hopefully you might take into account next time. Absolutely No offense meant I love the book and think it's great apart from that one fact.

great story so far loving the way you have integrated everything from the game. The reason I posted this is because I wanted to tell you not to worry about the short chapters. Personally I like more shorter chapters I think t makes the book flow better and makes a more relaxed read for me.

Soooo... Just out of curiosity, is Leo a replacement for Fawkes? I mean, he's intelligent, loves literature, doesn't like his fellow super mutants, and the wanderer's friend. The only thing different is that he's a pacifist.

Great story. I actually began with Aqua Vitae (which I liked better...I mean that as a compliment. Growth is good.), and decided I HAD to read more of your stuff. I'm glad I did. Looking forward to reading the end of the trilogy! Bring it on!

I thought to myself, "what the heck, why not read my first Fallout fic tonight"? I am SO glad I picked this one at random to read. I'm not usually one for romance, but this was fantastic. Just the right amount, and the introspection really fleshed out the characters and their motives. They seemed so real to me. I love what you've done with the Fallout universe here - it was like I was actually there, right alongside the characters.

um you realize thats not what happened in the pitt right? i mean no offense, youre a flawless writer, but there were only two dozen PALADINS who went into the pit. they only killed the MUTATED, such as trogs, and wild men, as well as those who fought the paladins as they took all the advanced tech. they didnt just slaughter everyone, and didnt even go in with fat men. i realized your version helps your story, but i felt like i should tell you what really happened in the pitt. thank you for your time.
