You know, I love Buffy and I love Spike. And I ship spuffy hard-core. But this seems kind of abrupt to me; it doesn't bode well for their long-term happiness. It makes me nervous!

Nice twist on the usual spuffy tale. I love Spike, and I ship spuffy but I don't think Spike does well on his own, or likes to be that way. He would find someone new. I'm just glad you made her a real person; someone Spike (and thus we readers!) feels badly for hurting.

First off, I have to say I've really been enjoying this story... at first I was concerned that they came back together too easily, but the more I think about it, shoving everything under the rug, mutually, may just be the best way to do it. But there's one thing I have to point out that's been sapping my enjoyment every time it comes up: the word is "ponce" or "poncy," not "pouncy."

So glad to see a new post! Good to know you haven't given his story up. Great chapter, such vivid imagery. I feel like this is an episode or "Lost;" one question is answered, which brings up 20 more! It's really none of Buffy's business who Spike bit. It was consensual and that still isn't anyone's business. He wasn't draining anyone, didn't kill or turn anyone. What happened between him and Rae is no one's business. If Buffy has a problem with it it's her problem. She never shared that with Spike because she never wanted to. Rae did.

Tyvm for the update. It was a perfect gift on my bday :-) what a cliffhanger eh...if spike and rae have shared blood before, that's something. (i hope they did not)...how could buffy top that unless they do the claiming thing. (i hope they eventually do it, it is just so romantic and also erotic ha ha oh please let them do it)...Buffy is also right in not trusting 's only a matter of time when rae gives in to her urges...i hope spike is strong enough to resist her pull...buffy is just so vulnerable in this story. She's the one that feels all the insecurities of their how the table is turned. It usually is spike who is unsure of himself...can't wait to know if blood has been shared...poor buffy.
