Very well done, all of it. I enjoyed every part and your characterization of both was most excellent.

"Shoulder" may be my second favourite nightime scene. Next to Snug. ;_;

Oh. Ohoho.
Why, this was fabulous. I just recently got into the Sherlock fandom (I'm regretting not getting in it sooner) and decided to scrummage the fanfics. And I found this gem.
This was just...oh, goodness, it made me feel so FLUFFY inside! And it was just so cute! And angsty! And superb!
Hehe :)

I can't even imagine them getting married...it's hilarious for me to picture. I just think of them both in their suits, with Lestrade and Sally and Mrs. Hudson all around, listening to their vows...it kind of makes me giggle!
Regardless, these were all very enjoyable to read. Thank you so much for writing and posting :)

Yes, me again, still slowly plotting along through your stories. Just wanted to say how happy I am that you did a story on Sherlock confronting John I'm his possible suicide thoughts. This was a topic that I had been hoping you would cover. Very well done and I am well pleased. Thank you!

For some reason, this chapter really made me want you to do a story about what happens when Sherlock has a particularly bad period of boredom. His personality makes me think that he would go rather crazy, and I am curious as to what John would do in the one of the worst case senarios of Sherlock's boredom-induced psychosis. Pretty pretty please?

So glad to be back online after some terrible trouble with what dares to call itself ‘Broadband’ here in rural Ireland...
ScopesMonkey, I LOVE your final chapter – thanks ever so much for having applied your time and your considerable skills to writing this and, indeed, the entire story as a whole which I’ve enjoyed immensely.
Your grocery list from Sherlock to John had me in stitches; absolutely priceless! “No trouble at all. Particularly not for Sherlock.” “Those biscuits with chocolate on, but without the chocolate.” Just where do you come up with it, you brilliant person? I, too, find Sherlock adding his initials to each grocery text really, really funny. Maybe I just don’t get out often enough?
I think the great combination of humour and drama made this chapter an exceptionally good read. The dialogue was fantastic. I really felt for Sherlock having been shocked into sudden realisation of how miserable life as a war veteran can be. You’ve expressed John’s anguish so well, his loneliness and his sense of loss at “not even [being] a doctor anymore”, you almost made me cry. I felt as I was sitting with John as he contemplated using his gun on himself, staring at nothing. Thank you, Tricia, for having phoned at just the right time!
And how good of John to let Sherlock keep the gun for now.
I’m sad this story is over, but hey, what a grand finale this was. Again, thanks so much for having humoured my whim!

This was a really well written chapter and story. I always enjoy the 5 + 1 stories. Really liked the dynamic between the two characters.

Excellent as always. The lighthearted beginning worked well to accentuate the poignancy at the end.
