This one's still good. Though I have to agree, the military in-fighting is rather cliche. Considering these are Spartan-III's, however, it's to be excected.

First, a reply to your reply to my review; I see what you mean. Indeed, Shark IS rather cliche...good job avoiding it.
I've actually got two blades you missed: Dirk and Kunai. Not sure if you can use them, but whatever. You could probably use Bayonet too.
And I believe Jerome-018 was trying to say he was hooked on your story like a cat on catnip.
And now onto the actual review. Still solid writing, enjoyable. Though I have to point out, I don't think Gamma was activated in 2542. That would mean that by the time the Battle of Onyx...oh, wait, that's right, you said you didn't read Ghosts of Onyx. Never mind.
Actually, I'm really not doing anything Beta Reader wise...if you want one, I'd be happy to do it.

Hmm...interseting start. We need more stories regarding Gamma Company. The irony of this? I know a guy named Christopher, and he likes orcas. As in the whales. Wonder if there's a connection...
Though I have to point out; I'm pretty sure that the Gamma Company teams were named after bladed weapons. But, since we only see three of them, it's possible. Don't bother changing it.
