1Pink Schmetterling
Wow, that WAS very dark. Roger seems kind of like a normal but brooding little boy until the ending. I like Jack's characterization a lot...very much the nose-in-the-air, snooty kid. Funny that they grew up to be (what I imagine as) friends. Their friendship came from humble beginnings, I guess.
The ending was...wow. Really powerful. You can see how Roger grew up to be the person he was. It's scary seeing that from a little boy, and the way he "calmly steps on what remains of the butterfly" is incredibly disturbing. This story just has a dark, foreboding feel to it, even from the way the dialogue is italicized rather than in quotations. Stunning story...definitely going on my favorites.

Wow, this is dark. But it fits Roger, of course. I love how Roger seems like a normal little boy until the butterfly incident. Wonderful job.

Really loved the power struggle here, and the way of presenting the dialouge as italics. The ending was... impressive. I wish I could stay more, but at the moment I sem completly unable to write a decent review. Good job, keep writing.

You know, I've never read LotF but I was in a physical theatre play of it.
Very well written, Lizzie, my lovely. Sinister in a very childlike way. I love the style of writing too, it fit the narrative very well.
Good work, you! ;)
