Regarding your a/n
I think sirius would have agreed with James that she's pretty. But Jk rowing said he was too busy rebelling to take girls seriously. Plus James like lily since nearly first or second year
And I think what jk Rowling meant was lupin was fond of lily, maybe as a sister
They asked her that question before the release of the last book. Whether lupin or snape liked lily. She said she would answer one of the two and picked lupin (obviously). She said Remus was fond of lily but did not at all compete with James for her.
I think cause James liked her since forever, they had all got used to lily as James' crush. I really don't think any of them had anything but platonic views regarding lily.
Please don't make lupin carry a torch for her or something !

I really love regulus and sirius. How they protect each other. I always get teary eyed when u mention such things
How can snape watch the suffering of sirius and take pleasure? That's almost inhuman. He of all people should know what parental abuse is.
Lily has absolutely no influence on sirius !
It's so sad. In another world sirius and snape could have been friends.. Especially since snape turned out to be good in the end.. And realised voldemort was bad!

Fighting with lily cause she spoke to lupin. Poor Remus is perfectly nice. He may not stop James and sirius and may be a horrible prefect but i don't see lily stopping snape from his hexings?
And then yelling at her for laughing at a potter prank. That's really childish!

Your version of sirius scares me though. He seems so dark. And I didn't get enough of him in harry potter (really sad) but in the moments he's seen here he really has a dark side. And it scares me. He does play pranks and all but I don't think his best moments are seen yet...
Your snape is bang on. Just because I'm a snape fan doesn't mean I think he's a saint. He does have his flaws. He has an evil side which is winning at the moment. I don't like how he can coldly hex people without feeling anything. It's really scary. I love him because he redeems himself after lily dies. I know he strays off the path for a while, indulges in dark arts and all. I do understand why he feels the need though, having tobias as a dad I don't blame him.
But he has lily. I wish he realised her friendship was enough. He didn't need dark arts. It is so sad because he has to look back and regret and think "what could have been..."
Because he might have ended up with lily :(

I love snape and Lily's friendship and you've captured it so very beautifully. I've one more chapter to go but I'm a bit sad cause we're in the fifth year.
You've made so many beautiful memories for tem. In a way it makes it harder to accept what's about to happen. If it wasnt such a great friendship we wouldn't be sad it ended. But I'm more of a cannon fic fan and I know it's inevitable.

It's funny isn't it..
Harry looks extraordinarily like James, except for his eyes. So externally he's almost completely a James replica.
But his soul and heart is almost completely lily, with James eyes (not literally) More like fondness for quidditch or extreme sense of trust and loyalty in friendship. Even lily was loyal and trusting but not to the extent of James. He considered his friends his brothers.
It really is lovely. On the outside its James with hint of lily
And on the inside its lily with a hint of James
