Just one thing I found odd...CALVARY, as used in this chapter (#16), is incorrect. The term Calvary is often used in American religions in place of the term HEAVEN. The term that you were using, or were attempting to use, is CAVALRY, which refers to the American army, circa 1850-1899, and is also referred to as "Horse Soldiers," or mounted infantry. Other than that glitch, your story is FANTASTIC

One question about that explosive? I am assuming that the town of little Hangleton is not as close to the manor as it is in the books, my assumption is that the town was build around the manor or something like that.

Your story idea sounds workable. Paid by Albus (not out of malice) to be sure Harry would have friends, and then refusing payments when they actually became friends. Of course you can always make Albus a meanie if you want to.

I liked how you've integrated the magical world with the sovereign, and how you've involved Queen Elizabeth in all this. Very cool that there's a direct portal to the Wizengamot's chamber from Buckingham Palace! ;)
