I was really enjoying the finale, a good tearjerker. Until you had Hawke never wake up, like a the cliche swan dying by willpower with light shining down and flower petals. That makes his sacrifice of going alone into the Deep Roads so she can live totally negated. She might as well have gone with him so he didn't have to die alone. He went alone into something he hated so she could live, but she negates that, and won't get her clothes dirty for his comfort if she's not going to live? I had been planning to favorite until I got to this... unfair ending.

I have to admit that I never expected this! It´s very surprising seeing Hawke and Anders go back to Kirkwall, in a good way though. I think it was nice that Anders sort of felt forgiven by Elthina, she always struck me as a kind person for some reason so it seems realistic that she would forgive Anders (Wow, I almost wrote Alistair there...) if she still had been alive.
Also I was hoping to see the whole ´Anders is a Warden so he won´t live very long´ thing come in play. So Yay for that!^^
I´m 100 percent sure about the kids behaviour, they seems a little bit childish for eleven year olds. But then again, because being 11 isn´t really so many years ago for me so I don´t really have any perspective of how I behaved then.
I liked this chapter because it was very surprising and also some important issues came up which hadn´t been dealt with before. I´m glad that you wrote this!
Also Anders is being flirty in the beginning so how can I not love it?;)

This is a beautifully written chapter! Oh I loved it. Sebastian's mental state, Hawke and Anders with their adorable children and Merrill sneaking up on Sebastian. I never thought Sebastian would sink so low... but you portrayed it wonderfully. Beautiful, simply beautiful!

Awww! Gavin and Amelia!^^ I'm sure they'll give Anders and Hawke lots of trouble! And I'm not worried anymore! I'm very, very happy! And the family reunion in the fade was very touching.I'm curious if the twins will have magic, or as Hawke says, if they'll be gifted...
On another note, about the not knowing about Wardens having kids thing, doesn't Alistair have an heir in the reflections-verse? Because if he does, he would be a good source of information, I think... Oh, wait! Maybe if Alistair's queen will become pregnant he'll go to Hawke and Anders for information!

Ah for shame, I've been reading and not reviewing. I am the worst kind of person, I apologise...but I have to say, this is becoming one of my favourite fluffies, I love your Hawke and Anders. SO CUTE. But so genuinely interesting and engaging at the same time. AND OGHREN AND NATHANIEL! And with a Surana as your Warden, completely approve of the mage friendliness of your fics. Sparklefingers. Oh LOL. I have so missed the drunken dwarf...And yes! On the Merril x Carver, I've always shipped those two, ever since their awkward banter in Kirkwall. Brilliant story, brilliant writing and love, love, love the general air of the story. Hopeful and happy. :D
