Love this perspective on Alt-liv. It's so very like her to want to win, she wants to win by being the heroine that she thinks her father would want her to be.

It's very interesting seeing the perspectives strictly from side or another without trying to find an in-between as it really gives the reader an idea of what they've been through over there and why the people are like that. But in reality they are jsut like us, human beings.

Nice job.

really liked the progression in this, and how it all ties together. it was never mentioned on the show, but I think most people agree that Altlivia managed to pull the trigger that Olivia couldn't - and a lot of the subsequent change in her character kind of stems from that. but at the core, both of them still had that important influence from their real dads, and the moral character that Altlivia took longer to step into simply out of circumstance.

this part in particular was spot on : "But she's not above guilt, so she tries to get Peter to say that he understands, that he would do the same, that what she is doing is the right thing to do. Not that she needs his approval or whatever; it's just… billions of people." I think that was one of the key moments for Altlivia's character, even before Henry. when she realized her way of thinking was perhaps a little too black-and-white.
