PS: I forgot to mention it but there was a few plot loopholes. I know you've doing your best to avoid they and even managed to find believable explanation for every apparent other one that was mentionned to you in reviews. So, I hope you will not feel down for the ones I have found.
- How could the elf wizard girl that wanted to avenge her family and village from Drizzt contact and be trusted by the Cyric group if "Unknown" is indeed the one designed as Cyric and Drizzt /common friend/ ?
- The group have been extremely slow and lenient between the the moment they located the Cyric at the Mielikki temple and the point Lauda was rescued again. First they decide its the time to test Drizzt loyalty, which Alustriel could have easily delayed to the next day granted that they were in her city and that her experience with drow have showed them to be patient and tempered in their schemes, whereas a girl was being /raped/ and soon to be killed... If it applied to Alustriel alone while the others are on their way to rescue Lauda, it could have been reasonably, but it seems that every member of the party stop to wait for Drizzt while he is being interrogated.
- Drizzt's attention span itself seems to be short for one of those most hurried to end Lauda's torture, or so it seems when Kellendil stop him from attacking in the temple. At this part of the story, come to think about it, and the unfolding of events are all logical, but the pace of the narration mood and dialogues makes it look like a long span of time is wasting away while they both hear a rather disgusting duo of sound in the background.
That's it. It's all I remember that felt strange by the end of the story. For everything else, it was a rather cruel, albeit logical plot. But as you may have understood, just as in Salvatore's texts, it's the characters and their interactions that I love most from your wirting. :)

This story was amazing. But for everything else: style, narration so akin to Salvatore's, characters, not-so-quite-hinted-at-romance, plot (minus the graphics sexual descriptions were useless details at my opinion), dialogue (minus the translated drow which was unbelievable as it was and could have been enhanced even through the restrictive use of a translator), and even pace, because the developing of his relationship with the groupe on the roads that took a good amount of the story was not a minor detail and provided me with quality entertainment and even a few good laughs. Well, all in all, that was a great work true to its canon material and VERY enjoyable. I can only hope to be able to read more about your Drizzt for I love the way you write about him as much as I do Salvatore's.

Really, really good. Don't have time to properly review, sorry, but I just thought I'd let you know I enjoyed every minute of it. I've read through all the chapters in a single evening and that's saying something, knowing my usual relationship with fanfiction. Well done!

I have returned! Told you I'd still be around whenever you decided to continue this! Talk about a Christmas present, I've missed the alerts saying Alti'uin has updated "Overslept". Now it is officially over, but I get to look forward to "Insomnia". I haven't read it yet, but I can already tell you I love the title and I'm on my way as soon as I finish typing this. That being said, I'm going to stop now because I can't wait. Thank you for the sequel, I can not WAIT! :)

I am so glad to have found this story. Found out about the Forgotten Realms a year ago, and read the prequels on Drizzt. I am glad I am not the only one who was ** with the death of Kellindel. I loved this story, though I have no idea who the hell Ellifain is. I guess I have to get back to reading the books. I love the fact that Drizzt befriended Kell. I am glad there was no romance, and the pace was good.
