Oh, I forgot to add. Involving Mycroft was a really interesting idea. John and Ianto befriending each other like that, especially over tea and coffee, is simply icing on the cake.

The bit about Mycroft was precious. So was John and Ianto immediately hitting it off over a cup of tea. And John's just simply accepting what Sherlock said about aliens.

You captured the character tones very well. I`ve only watched the first season so I wasn`t sure if I`d know the characters well enough to read but this was really good. I love the whimsical legend at the end. I hope to see some more adventures with them in the future.

Well, this was a little confusing because if the Doctor is real, then why is Doctor Who a tv show John can quote? But other than that, good job. I'm not really familiar with Torchwood so I don't know if they were in character, but I liked the way you poked fun. I do think John overshared with Ianto, though. I like the twist of Jack recognizing their names - I was thinking they'd been ACD's fictional creation brought to life, but instead he knew them for a different reason.
And Mrs. H, the ninja landlady! Pricelss.
