This story is an absolute jewel. It's terribly original, I have never found anything similar. When I read "Yet another universe" I liked it, I liked Harry's strong character, and I liked the humor it had. But it wasn't really very original, so it was just something else to read and nothing more. Then I start reading this sequel and now I find myself in a desperate situation because I WANT MORE!
THIS, is absolutely brilliant. It's original, pretty dark, it has it's funny parts, and some really good twists that made my mouth make a hole in the floor. The "James as Umbridge's thrall" part... Ew. Just EW! It made me gasp and then start insulting you in English and Spanish (my first language) because I knew this was the last published chapter and now I have to live with one of the worst cliffhangers ever (Add to that, that James is one of my favourite characters and seeing him so helpless... I'm not sure if I wanted to cry, hit you, go inside the story and hug him, or the three of them at once).
I really hope that you change your mind and continue this story, I've read some other of your stories ("Sirius' savior" and sequel, "Trust is a relative thing") and plan to read at least one more. And I've gotta say, this one is the one that shows more promise, because of it's original component. And it's really a shame that it's last update was more than a year ago...

Very interesting piece. I like that this takes the view of Dumbledore and Grindelwald pairing up as the "bad" guys. How awful to meet James in such a way, and under Umbridge. Ouch. I do like the fact that Harry has both his parents alive in this world, even if they are pretty damaged people. You write incredibly well, and its a great story. I look forward to more.

I've been reading both parts with out stop since I found it :) I don't know why, but when they found James in mind I saw him as been very young, like a kost confused 14 years old harry would look like, but then I remember lily and she is around 40 and then I realise if he was captured at six it wouldn't be so extrange for james to be mentally insecure enough to resemble someone so young to me.. I'm not sure why I'm telling you this :/

Aw, it would be a pity if you have discontinued such a wonderful story! I enjoyed reading it very much and totally agree with the assesment of you AN. But even though the previous one was somewhat cliched, it was still good. This one though is special.

Noooooooooooo I need to know what happens next! Darn you... darn you to heck! ...ok enough melodramatics. Yet another universe was hilarious and thuroughly enjoyed. It was a little too bashy in my taste but was a good read nonetheless. Then this one. Didn't see grindy/alby rulers of former Nazi Germany and apparently Russia coming at all. Though James potter as umbitches thrall just made me want to throw up. As did a lot of the rape that lily went through. Or well that whole rape... area really. It was quite the read though. But whoah! Tom's illigitamate child with a hippie girl? But seeing possible Harry/oc here. Anyway. Write man! Pheonix! Silver ... thing! ... please?
P.s. also if you do pick it back up again I would give you the opinion of a reader that many "war gone bad" fics end up with it making me as a reader want to sit in a corner and cry. Which might be what you're looking for. But it makes me, as a reader, want to stop reading because it becomes just a question of well who do we kill off to show I mean buisness kinds thing instead of character deaths meaning plot device.

I usually wait to read a story when it's complete, but after reading the one that this is a sequel of, well, I just couldn't help myself... but now I have a problem... I have to wait for the next chapter and the ones after that... I'm especially intrigued as to what and when Harry will tell his "should be" parents in this universe...
