Oh goodness. This is lovely.
I just love Mags. Dear old Mags. And this is the first fanfic about her that I've seen.
I like the little thing, that Mags is a nickname. A nickname she held onto throughout the games and even into the Quarter Quell. That's a very long time. It's like, the nickname symbolizes more than just a name.

Setting a cat on fire...no exactly what I would expect from the toast prompt but it was fitting. This little insight to Mags was great on how you introduced her to the idea of rebellion.
Nice Work!

Pretty sadistic idea, but I did like it. And I love how you worked the prompt in, with her first describing the aftermath and then physically at the end. It's also interesting that you gave her "Mags" as a nickname and not her actual name; aren't magpies the ones that steal and hoard things?
I really like this portrayal of the first rebellion. Seal isn't rebelling through an uprising, but obviously, these "smaller acts" lead to bigger ones and, eventually, the Hunger Games.
Thanks for entering!

Creepy and very effective. I liked her naive "voice" and how you're still able to convey so much beyond her understanding but keep that voice - it's a good trick.
