Unless he was with her twenty-four hours a day, George has no way to be certain that his mistress' child is really his. It could have been fathered by another lover of hers. I think it would be a great idea to do a sequel and have George find out that he isn't the child's father after all. Just saying.

I would like for you to please, please write a sequel in which there is a happy ending for Lady Margaret as well. I want her to have a happy marriage and children of her own that she gets to raise, and I also hope that Catherine will reconcile with her and will go to live with her part-time in the end. Can you please let that happen?

I think that's just awful that Margaret had to give the baby up to its father and his wife and Mary has to raise a child that isn't hers...terrible how women had no rights at all back then...

Great setting up of a sequel especially if it will involve Catherine as the heroine. I do hope that it will focus on the lives of all the children not just her. I want to see what happens to the boys and the twins and little Annie!
I will have to tend to agree with Carolina, I would have liked to have read more about Mary and George since they were the heroine and hero of this piece and the whole story was about their relationship and how they came to love and respect one another.
I did, however, find Henry's reaction to the birth of the son at Christmas to be quite nice. He's as pleased as can be to have another grandson! As well he should be. Mary and George now have the 'heir and the spare' and the throne is that much more secure.
Looking forward to seeing more of these characters!

its a nice ending though it focused on Lady Catherine a little bit too much I still thought it was nicely done, and I liked how Mary had a real reunion with her father at the end when she gave birth to another boy, and both father and daughter put the past behind them and the baby was named Henry. I really hope you do a sequel but if you feel you need to take some time no problem, take time to write :) I am sure the sequel will be neatly done too.

I was going to be so upset when I saw you weren't going to do an epilogue but I was like oh there's a possibility of sequel! GOOD! I can't wait to read more and I thought the birth of another Prince was the perfect way to end it off!
