I loved this. Both versions. It was awesome and dark and tje kind of thing you don't really wanna read because it'll make you think, and it'll make you sad, but you read anyway because the writing it's so good your eyes are glued to the screen. Well, at least this is what happened to me. Also, John Constantine, wow.

This was so so GOOD! Honestly when I saw that you had two endings I planned to skip the bad!end and just read the good!end. But I'm so glad that I couldn't because even though they were both so different they both felt very satisfying and the bad!end had me sobbing! This is so well done, good job and I'm off to read the one shots!

Okay, I just burned through this entire story today, and it was beautiful.
When you started, and talked about Damian's healing and the cat named Alfred, I made the connections to Batman #666 and his deal. But then Stephanie came in, and their romance was so... warm and heart-expanding, I didn't want him to end alone. I thought it could end better then that.
And then Chapter 7. That one just hit me like a wrecking ball. It hurt. Congratulations.
And I had to read through the alternate end, simply because I couldn't leave the story with that kind of pain.
You did some excellent work here, and it was a pleasure reading it.

I know it's been a while since you finished the story, an normally I will just put your fic in favorites, but with total honestly, i just feel the need to tell you how wonderful your fanfic is.
Told to be true, i'm not a Damian/Steph fan, i like both, obliviously, i think the way they interact is great all that snarky conversations are lovely, but... uh, uh, uh i really like Steph/Tim. However, wow it's the first time i have the feeling that... yeah, this should be the canon story! P.L.E.A.S.E. So dam well written, characterization is spot-on, an intelligent plot, romantic as any other story that focus in a relationship but not cheesy, you keep the dark feeling of gotham, and the depression/madness/whatever abnormal thing of the batfamily.
Despite the fact that the second ending is happy and nice, i prefer the first one, it just felt... right, as if the whole universe was plotting to just end it that way an no other. Beside it's a friggin' roller cost of emotions, it's so sad and tragic but extremely beautiful. When i finished that chapter i was... oh... overwhelmed like nooo why he can't be happy, both deserved and waaaa a happy ending just will suck.
About the crossroad, the first thing i though was: "Oh, please that's Supernatural!" and with Dick going in a trip to save his brother, i just couldn't shake the feeling, but hey! Batman Inc has leviathans! and they put strange things in cows! to produce meat that will be used in food!
I love the short scenes with Tim, i totally loved when Damian asked him "Are you still virgin?" that was... epic! But the one i really enjoyed was Jason, he was amazing when he show up.
Anyway, i truly liked your fanfic. In my head this will always be The story of Damian and Steph.

I really immensely enjoyed this chapter.
I think my favorite part was the way you described Croc's den.
The descriptiveness and imagery you used really brings the scene to life for the reader and sent chills down my spine!
