This is truly lovely and I very much enjoyed it. I hope you will write more of this, maybe about their first time or someone (I keep thinking of Renji for some reason) finding out. Oh well it's up to you. You write beautifully.

Of course there need to be more. I found the others that have reviewed was right. This is a good story, and clearly well written. The way you incorporated calligraphy in to the story was very well done, and it give the story a unique atmosphere. The sitting is also very fitting for someone like Byakuya, and it only intensifies this "thing" the two are having. I used quotations because I have no idea how to describe what is this relationship they have. They are lovers are they not? but the way they are going around made it almost as if they are in a licit affair. Although, that notion does give a very exciting aspect.
Sorry if this review does not make sense. Currently it is 3 AM. Although, I have stayed up much later before, or should I say, staying awake for many hours. For some reason, I am extremely tired today, and my mind is not working as fast and as efficient as normally would. Not to mention I just want to go to sleep now, but I want to review before I forget everything when I wake up. Hope it was not so bad for you to read this... sloppy review. Hope I did not bored you, I tend to write nonsense when I am tired...

Can't believe I missed this update...you write surprisingly eloquent and engrossing 'smut' [quotations added because the term usually seems derogatory, and this piece is so elegant and erotic and yummy], and I am beyond thrilled that you added another chapter and are contemplating doing even more. ByaIchi may not be my OTP, but you do a beautiful job balancing description, emotion and theme, and I eagerly await more!

They feel good together, and you infuse their interaction with the whole "illicit affair" feeling. The words are carefully chosen, the pacing just so, and descriptions evocative without going overboard. I haven't even noticed it's in present tense - that's how smooth it is :-)
I have some reservations about Byakuya being a "man" and Ichigo being a "boy"; other than that, awesome. (I'd hope Ichi is of the age of consent, even though the feudal Japanese didn't recognize the concept as such).
