Dear Lord! I cannot express with mere words how delightful was this Title for Marta to me! I am so very pleased with the new chapter!
Thank you so very much for your arduous job trying to keep a nice steady pace with this story, just a mere sincere question that has been plaguing me lately: Is it already a "must be" that Emil is going to wind up with Marta? I mean, I like the couple and all, but maybe it's just me but for the way you described Lloyd and Sheena's relationship they seem to be a couple, true? Well, that means Colette is free! Why, my good friend, could you not give or take some developments from Emil and Colette's side if you may?
Besides, if Luke is "Luke" meaning Replica Luke I could agree that he indeed has feelings for Mysterica Grantz, or Tear, but indeed I have to point out that even as "Replica Luke" he indeed had develop some feelings for Natalia as well... That is if you keep her as much as you can in your party and get all the conversations with her. Besides, if it's "Luke" in the end... Which has been at least confirmed to be an amalgam of both "Luke" and Asch there should be a combination of feelings between Natalia and Tear...
So, I would also say that you should not take Natalia lightly and ship Tear and Luke so easily...
But, oh well, that is just my humble opinion! Thanks for the story!

Dear, Lord! I just cannot stop wishing for you to keep this story updated a little sooner, but of course you have your own life and I shant expect you to be tied up to your desk writing day and night, or do I?
Good luck out there, and I beg of you again, would you mind writing something about Emil being a fantastic chef and all, please? I would be out mostly greatful to you, if you may of course!

The relationship between Emil and Luke is so nice...
I love that it is Emil who is in control of the situation and not Ratatosk, people tent to diminish Emil's role and base everything in Ratatosk.
Once again, thank you, you really made my day...
Hope to keep reading this amazing story and enjoy each word with all my heart.
I think the "Titles" moments are very creative and (because in ToS2 there weren't any change of outfits...) would you mind creating spwcial skits with different outfits for both of them?
Maybe one with matching clothes for Luke and Emil!
And I really hope they relationship to grow even deeper to the point they become as brothers (sniff) But Emil IS Ratatosk, right? In this story, isn't him? Please don't let it be Luke...
I just had my suspicioons, but I would love to think that maybe they both have a greater destiny to accomplish together... Maybe, they are brothers! I don't know, what I knnow is that I really want them to be honest with each other, because everytime someone keeps a dark secret for themselves everything gets screwed up!
I already have the feeling, that Luke has already taken the role as older brother for Emil.
JUST A SUGGESTION:
The girls have cooked dinner a for WAY too long! And we both know that both Marta and Colette are NOT very good!
Maybe, it is Emil's turn to teach Luke how to cook! I mean, I know he isn't the worst, but he is not the best like Emil is...
Besides, knowing Emil, I'm pretty sure this is the way he would say "thanks for being my teacher and friend" kind of way!
AND YES, EMIL IS THE 2 BEST CHARACTER THAT CAN COOK!

lol i actually had an idea for something similar to this a while back
only it was the reverse of this. when emil and ratatosk separated and ratatosk opened a boundary gate for emil to leave. the demons on the other side of the gate made one more try to get out and it destabilised the boundary gate. sending emil, to auderant but unfortunately he cant get back on his own. trying to gather the mana on his own would kill him and ratatosk's gates are source to destination only so he gets dragged into the fun with van.
part of the idea i had was that he'd still be able to make monster pacts thanks to a new centurion ratatosk would send to him and he'd have some of ratatosks knowledge for using boundary gates and being able to use ain soph auer.
and as a part of his intervention he'd use the boundary gate ability to keep luke's hyperresonance from attacking the sephiroth tree at akzeriuth. slowing down but not stopping its destruction. long enough to prevent any casulties by getting the survivors onto the tartarus.
cause that was always one thing that bothered me. the death of that kid trapped under his dad's body on the crate in the sea of mud.
the overall idea would be for emil to be a good influence on Luke and try to limit the damage asch causes with his screwing around. and at the end. emil uses the released fonons from when lorelai is released to open a boundary gate and get home

I love how you introduced Luke into the story with him fighting the Vanguard soldiers. Ahh Marta... At the start of the chapter her clinging to him makes me laugh. And good ol' Tenebrae. :D

Gotta say this is quite a unique spin on tales of the abyss, and tales of symphonia and I like it. It's really interesting, the beginning was dark, what with Auldrant, not doing so well and Lorelei meets and names Ratatosk, well, Ratatosk. That's a first to see. An all round really great start and I look forward to another chapter.
