I think its interesting to have Chichi commit suicide. However I think that with Gohan being maybe 13 or so, for finding his mother's dead body with his little brother he seemed way too calm about it. I know you put in the glass breaking to show his anger or shock but even so he didn't even try to resuscitate or run away which would have been my first instincts.
Either way would like to see what you do with this next.
