Well I have got to say that is one of the best plotted and crafted stories I have ever read in a long time. I loved all the double and triple and in some cases quadruple dealings that went on in this. The roller coaster ride as a reader was brilliant. And as for Sherlock. Well I have a fondness for our hero to going though hell and this delivered in millions of delightful ways physically and emotionally and thankfully none of it gratuitous or OTT. You had his reactions down perfectly, seriously I could hear Benidict's voice in my head delivering some of the fast paced dialogue, and see Sherlock pacing as he argued with John or Mycroft. And John, thank god John was there willing to do anything for his friend even when said friend was trying to scare him away. And Mycroft, OMG how can I tell you how much I loved and hated him in this. And the final chapter Myscroft dont you dare! But he did, he is using Sherlock again, sending him in without all the facts, lying to him...how could he...!
I hope you are going to attempt a sequel at some point, as much as I like to see Sherlock in danger I would like to see him safe and happy (well happy for him *g*) at the end and it looks like Mycroft is going to get him in over his head again! I would love to see you delve into their world again.
If your not writing a sequel then when I re read (and I will cause this was awesome) then I might just miss out chapter 37. So sue me I like my happy endings and Sherlock bounding of with Lestrade and John was lovely.
