I'm so disappointed you have received so few reviews, compared to other stories that certainly are not at your level... I'm quite fond of your fanfic, really. You're an incredible writer and I'm astonished by your talent. This is the best fanfiction I've ever read so far! I'm still excited for this last lovely chapter and I hope you are planning to continue and update this story as soon as possible, otherwise I think I'll go mad, believe me! Anyways, sorry for my English, I guess I'm your first Italian fan :)

I did tell you how you almost killed me with one line the last chapter, didn't I? Well you did.
"He collapsed." Ah...
It's amazing how you evoke such strong concern for Enjolras in me when he hasn't been in it for the last two chapters, as you said early on, this is more about how his friend's deal with this thing.
I'm still desperately curious to know if it is TB. I don't think it is. But what else could it be. I'm trying to think of somehting which isn't fatal so this can carry on forever, but stuggling.
Enjoying Grantaire and Suzanne very much too. And if I didn't review last time, the swap of Combeferre and Joly. Her panic at the possibility of consumption was a nice touch, and in fact, there is a book you might find interesting by Susan Sontag, called Illness and it's Metaphors which I think explores the strange relationship between people and TB and also now with cancer and AIDS. Saying this, you've possibly read it. I have no idea. I haven't yet, I leant it to a friend and am yet to reclaim it.
Oh Grantaire. I wonder whether Enjolras was awake, or if he watched him sleep? I would have loved to have seen it. Your Enjolras is just so right, for the story, and in character too, almost sanguine about his condition and more worried about his friends than himself. I'd very much like to see a play out of his growing concern that he could pass this on to them? Or finding a way for him to continue with his work despite his growing infirmity with their assistance. Hmm. So many things. I'm not sure what I'm going to do when the story ends. I can't bear to kill any of the ami's in my fics, least of all Enjolras, and I get the feeling you might.
Well anyway, excellent job as per and keep going.

I love your Grantaire/Enjolras stories. They are beautifully written. May I translate them into Chinese and post them at our forum? I promise I'll credit you fully. Thank you so much!

I'm so sorry I didn't review earlier. I've read most of your stories - you've got an incredible style of writing, it got me addicted from the first sentence. I have no thoughts to inspire you, really, just (like all the rest) the plea not to let Enjolras die this way. It is always great to come across a story in which everyone survived the barricade, but then to watch someone slowly die and the others suffer along ... well.
I really like how you portray Enjolras ... the way he became calmer and more patient (about France, his friends and his health) makes him seem -at first glance- more human, but if you think about it, you realize how unique he really is. To accept his fate (which I hope is not what he thinks it is) like he does is not what you expect of a young man. But well, he has never been normal. This is a fact you manage to show very clearly in an intense way.
I thought about writing a PM about the other stories I've read, but I'm going to do it in here ;)
Your "Revolutions Great and Small" story is the first one I read from you (and the first one as I began to be interested in Les Mis again), and it was just great. Funny, sweet; it shows the Amis in a different light, but not less authentic or over the top like some other stories do. I was so sad to see you didn't continue the second part of it ... and I really hope you'll do someday. It is true that there are not many readers in this fandom -or there are but nobody likes to review- but I hope that doesn't keep you from writing. We need authors like you who understand to fully grasp the characters' personalities and then present them in an own way without changing them.
I'm SO looking forward to the next chapter )

This is amazing! :D Please update again soon! I'm sure no matter what happens- even if my dear Enjolras dies, it would still be an amazing story. Very well-written!

Oh, Joly. Always so sweet, and this time, he really had a reason to panic, and I feel so sorry for him, and for Enjolras. Of course, it would have occured to him that he might give his friends the disease he's carrying, and of course this would weigh heavily on that brilliant mind of his, but still... This chapter, though quite short, was quite worth the wait!

review for ch 25, as ff won't let me review twice?
One more thing. I appreciate the realism you have in this fic in terms of adhering to the most probable canon scenario, had they lived.
I think they're may well have been homosexual aspects to the ami's - Greek friendships (ah, bromance) or a good bit of 19th Century sodomy, as it was all rage - but that doesn't mean it did, would or should. So I like your fic for dealing with the they're straight, married and so on.
I don't particularly like OC's, especially female ones - I like Susu, she's more than a Mary Sue (either as an avatar of the author or perfection in their eyes personified) and her existence plays a role in the plot in a more believable way than had, say, it been Musichetta who'd been attacked. So stop worrying about her. That said, I'm here for the friendship (E/R or otherwise) and while I wouldn't mind seeing her develop, and the relationship with Grantaire/the other amis, it's not the part I personally focus on.
Bye again. Seriously, I need to sleep.
