You write lovely stories. I wonder when you update this one. The plot has already intriguing me yet you leave it on hiatus?
I hope you revive this wonderful story because I really want to read the continuation,

Such an interesting story~ I'm really enjoying it. Great second chapter for kinda of explaining the things from the first one, but also leaving us readers wanting more. I'm really interested to see Midori's actions in this and how her role plays out. Yes, the ShizNat interaction is good, but I won't focus on it lol We all know you write good ShizNat at this point XD
The main part of this story I'm interested in is the "elf world"(well, their way of being etc.) and I think you're doing a great job at describing it both in narration and dialogue/interaction between characters.

Oh. My. God! That was awesome. Who is the elf that's being held captive? Is it Aoi? Alyssa? But, before that, why in the hell did you have Shizuru club Natsuki over the head? When I first read that, I was like "AHH YEAH!¡! TAKE HER BACK TO YOUR CAVE CAVEMAN STYLE!¡!¡!¡!" But then the council stuff happened and I was like "AWWWWW"
But, anyway, loved the chapter. Can't wait for the next one. Please update soon.

Now for the real review!
Once again, a wonderful chapter, even if there was no real action. You've kept Natsuki's tone from the first chapter nicely and I particularly liked how she thought to disarm Shizuru, as well as what transpired with that. XD I really love the description in this, particularly the tree and I like how severe the contrast was between the elvish and human parts.
Natsuki's reaction to thinking it was a prank was realistic and I'm wondering about Natsuki's mother's ears; accident, intentional or other? The way the Elder's emotions affected the area around them was cool and I approve of the long beard -Nods-.
I like Midori's entrance and I can already tell she's a bad*ss boss. Her attitude is telling that she obviously very bitter about the situation, although I wonder if there is anything more to it than general circumstance, such as a personal loss. It's revealing how bad it is for the humans, while the incident shows a harder than usual edge to the prisoner as well. I'm looking forward to the interaction between her and... her captive.
I'll be looking forward to the next update! X3

Oooh, plot advancement! So, we have elves...whose language Natsuki can somehow speak naturally (which raises the question of whether this is somehow a magical/supernatural/technological ability she's absorbed or the elves just happen to speak Japanese), but for whom she's undersized. I wonder if in fact she *is* a half-elf (that her father was one), or rather, being from the past, she's some kind of proto-elf. It'll be interesting exploring the ramifications.
Meanwhile, the humans appear to prefer technology. Midori seems to be the human commander, and I'm guessing Youko is her prisoner...one can only wonder whence came the vicious hatred between races and how enthusiastically that particular gap is going to be bridged by our heroines. ^_-
Looking forward to more.

Totally loved the reaction when Natsuki said her mom's ears "look cropped". Especially the: "gripping their ears with trembling hands" LOL
ps. I've been meaning to ask you... When will the "little" demon inside grow up to be the "BIG" demon inside? (Sorry.. couldn't resist...) LOL
