This is a great interlude between the two series and every chapter has something I like, like the exploration of the pilot's background and their thoughts on the situation and the forming of the resistance to Wade. Do you plan to continue this up until the beginning of the series?

I really am loving this story, especially the adventures of the "White Angel" and "Black Storm". Not so much into the Vehicle Team, but that's just me.
I do have a tiny nitpick - it's "rogue", not "rouge". "Going rouge" implies something else altogether and I'm not sure we want to go there. ;-) But otherwise, keep up the good work!

As the Miracles say, I second the emotion of someone who said in an earlier review of this chapter: cool that Sven and Romelle got the Voltcoms. His have got to be gray while hers have got to be white. It's only natural.

Reminds me of a 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' novel where a female Vulcan {pointy-eared people who had incredible logical intelligence} doctor adopted an Andorrian {blue-skinned, white-haired with odd little pipes coming out of their head} child who was visually-impaired. The doctor liked Mozart while the child liked, of all things, Elvis Presley.

I wonder if Nikita went to Sochi, site of the 2014 Winter Olympics. It will be very interesting to see the terrain of Russia, given the fact that the United States and its' allies boycotted the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. I don't even remember watching them because of the boycott.
