I am cheering for Marina on this, I hope she gets to have a duke of york or even a girl, it will be nice seeing another princes sin the tudor bunch. The love between her and Henry is adorable, and it was very nice of him just to add to have his daughter married to a man who will respect her.

If I wasn't so sick and angered by what happened with one of my roomies I would have reivewed and read sooner. It was a good chapter once again good character Marina and she is great defending Katherine Howard.

I like Henry for not pressuring Marina into having a son and being more understanding here.

I am so happy Marina is the champion of Katherine Howard and as I said before that she talked to Henry about Elizabeth made me like her even more. Joan Bulmer will know better now than to blackmail kitty. Am I smelling tommykitty for the future? ^_^

I wonder who is this mystery bride for charles?

it was very sad to read that she did was not waiting for a son as she hoped for, but henry is sweeter this time and doesn't seem to care if the child is boy or girl.

"' The Lady Mary may have lost her mother, but she has plenty of memories of her, she knows that she was loved by her. And I know you allowed her to keep a portrait of her in her rooms. Prince Edward may have not any memories of his mother, but he has her portrait, he has some stuff of her, and when he asks about her, I am certain everyone answers happily to him. But Elizabeth has only the voice of her mother in her head. She can't recall how she was, neither she can remember of any moment with her. She has come to an age when you feel a lot of things. I am not saying that we should speak of Anne Boleyn in front of everyone or showing a huge portrait of her in the castle. But I do think that speaking of her truthfully just in our family, giving a thing that belonged to her and a portrait of her to Elizabeth will be more than helpful. Our daughter is wondering if her mother loved her and cared for her, if her presence does not make you or her sister suffering.'"

I love Marina's explanation, I think that she is right much as I sympathize more with Mary she had her mother's memories and though more painful than Elizabeth's at least she had that to prove her father's awful words of koa were not true, Elizabeth did not have much as Henry did away with all of Anne Boleyn's portraits. I am glad that Mary is showing her kindness as well in contributing to the E in the ring that Marina wants to give Bessie and that Henry allowed for it to be inside a pic of Anne Boleyn and that Henry decided to talk about Anne Boleyn to Bessie, although it may not be the real version of events since lets remember Henry is Henry, but at least Bessie now has an idea of her mum. I loved this chapter and that Marina also gave comfort to Katherine Howard!

I am officially in love with Marina Tudor nee of Champaigne how she won both Bessie and Mary's heart but more Bessie by her last sentence, and how she is determined to talk about the subject of Anne Boleyn to Henry because it is clearly affecting Elizabeth and she as Mary want to make sure that Bessie feels loved like the rest of them.

Wow once again another brilliant chapter and I am continuing to like Marina de Champagne more and more. My favorite part was when Marina met her step-children for the first time and Elizabeth greeting her new step-mother by speaking French. What I really made me admire the new queen was that she is no fool when it comes to Henry’s history with women but accepts that and also accepts Henry’s feelings for Katherine Howard as well. There’s that saying Keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer, hopefully Katherine Howard will not turn out to be an enemy in the end. I REALLY, REALLY hope that things will continue to go well for Marina and that she very soon give Henry a healthy son. Keep up the excellent work and please update ASAP.
