I can't believe this is the end:( I'm so sad.
Maureen helping Milla? Say what? Again, you've thrown me for a loop but somehow I believe it. If anyone knows what it's like to be a young mother up against all odds it's Ms. Ashby. This scene wasn't too bitter or too emotional, just straight forward and to the point. There was a part of me that was waiting for Mo to spill her guts, but it's better that she didn't.
The mention of the rats in the crate gave me the chills. I remember the look Jax gave Eddie and then Clay thumping him on the shoulder...oh boy, what a tense scene. Thank you for taking me 'there' again. Oh and Keegan is just digging his own grave. I had a nice chuckle out of the description of Zobelle as his 'Separatist sugar daddy'.
Juice was every bit the one percenter during Keegan's execution. I love how effectively he did his job. His emotions taking over for a moment showed that he is human. Hap stepping in was just perfect. That's what he's there for. You know I'm a fan of people doing their jobs and despite the fact that emotions were running high, everyone did what they were supposed to. Love it.
This is my very favorite story for a variety of reasons. The descriptive language, the insertion of Keegan orchestrating this, the minor OCs like Nessa and Cormac, Milla's character growth, all the original ideas while staying true to the plotlines, Jimmy. Absolutely fabulous. Major blushing over the shoutout. Love being your sounding board and so glad that I could have a hand in helping with this amazing story.
Can't wait for the next installment, girl!

Between Juice and Chibs and Lu in the hospital, poor Milla has every right to fall apart. But of course, my girl handles herself like a boss. She not only juggles all the family drama, but manages to handle a point man for the RIRA with finesse. La la love her. In the hands of a lesser writer she would've come off as a Mary Sue, but you managed to portray her as a strong woman.
My neck hurts from looking around so much. Who is the biggest snake in this chapter? Jimmy? Stahl? Keegan? I'm going to have to go with Keegan. Dude has really fallen off the deep end. Plotting Gemma and Milla's murders and his escape while going behind the back of the RIRA? He should listen to Cameron: the Sons ain't the ones to be played with.
My favorite part of this chapter had to be Milla's sit down with Jimmy O. That dude is a snake is the grass. Again, Milla comes off like a take-no-shit bitch here. Her mother could learn a thing or two from her. Being strong has nothing to do with skateboards or throwing your weight around. It has to do with standing your ground, effective communication of intentions and staying true to who you are. Milla is just fab here. You showed us (through 1.5 stories) how your character has grown and changed from little girl to take no shit woman. Very patient, concise writing.
The inheritance and burning down of CaraCara nearly brought me to tears. It really did feel like an omen, like something working against Milla's happiness. Stahl only added to this. Her thought process was so spot-on. Stahl is such a sociopath, thinking that everyone thinks in terms of deals and gain like she does. Of course, Milla knew how to send her packing.
Touching moment between Jax&Milla. You know I have Jax issues, but I really liked him in this scene. It was such an emotional, necessary little exchange esp. considering what's to come. And WORD UP to Mils for not jumping on the 'let's abuse Tara train'. If nothing else, Tara's loyalty deserves the same in return.
Juice and Milla got to have their time together, the Teller-Morrows are all getting along (sorta), peace is on the horizon...and Jimmy O interupts it all.
Lots packed into this chapter, but it didn't feel rushed. I missed this story so much&I'm so sad that the next chapter is the last.

Ah, the backstory on O'Neil and Cherry. It's as sleazy as I expected it to be. O'Neil is such a nasty mcbastard but like he said he is a Son and Milla does have to respect him. (Although I'd assume that her ties to the army rank her above him? No?) Milla telling him she'd rather stick her hand in a dish disposal than touch him was a subtle way to show that Milla isn't the same in Charming as she is in Belfast. She's harder, sharper, and more...Gemma-like. But it doesn't look bad on her.
Ugh Zobelle and his uni-boobed daughter. I hate them in this fic just as much as I hated them on the show. Listening to Keegan set up his own mother in law's rape turned my stomach. He better just put his head between his legs and kiss his ass goodbye now because that kind of shit coming back around is deadly.
In my mind Juice and Milla are meant to be, but I felt some sympathy for Cormac. He did right by Milla (minus the whole Trinny hookup)and he doesn't get to keep her. Nice to see Milla shoulder some of the blame but at the same time she's far from the worst person in the world. That girl is far too compassionate for her own good.
The end of this chapter was so 'loaded' considering the S2 events. Milla in the tub dissecting feelings while her mother is being...oh, can't even say. Damn.
