Whew, so glad that was just a nightmare Lisbon had. And yes, I imagine cleaning her gun is very calming for Lisbon and a very threatening image for everyone else, as established in the previous chapter.
I'd have called Jane and gotten the girl too, by the way. You can't be too paranoid with someone like Red John out there.

Oh, I love this! Wonderful and very fitting. Of course Jane would be the gormet cook while Lisbon takes on the role of badass intimidator and killer-catcher.
At least they did the proposal the right way round and can I just mention how happy I am about the Jisbon in this chapter?!

I agree with you about the gender roles being kicked to the curb. I like how the characters can be feminine or masculine and it just fits right with each respective character.

What a lovely collection! Okay, I don't *quite* see Cho saying what he did, it needed to be included and he is a logical choice. Still it was perfect just like all of them I LOVED LOVED LOVED the last segment the best. FANTASTIC!
In my world, Jane would be fine with wearing a pink sequined tuxedo if it served a specific, needed purpose because he knows that ultimately people are individuals need to be judged by their actions. Stereotypes and expected roles mean so very little.
