I Learned A Couple Of Years Ago That War Will Not End.
There May Never Be World Peace.
But, Once Upon A Time, There Was. Before We Learned The Words "War", "Battle", "Jealousy", "revenge"...
The Earliest Most Remember Fighting Is When They Were About 5 Or 6 Years Old. When We Were Newborns Though, We Never Fought Like That. When We Were 2, We Never Did Hit Others. When We Began Watching These Semi-Violent TV Shows With Our Siblings, We Fought. Doesn't Matter If The Powerpuff Girls Were The Good Guys, They Still Fought, And We Learned From It.
Fighting Can Be Good, I Suppose. To Oppose A Dictatership. But We Also Fight In Smaller Ways. A Child Claims To Want World Peace.
Less Then half An Hour Later, That Same Child Is Pulling On Her Brother's Hair Because He's Threatening To Put Her New Doll In The Toliet If She Doesn't Give Up The Remote Controll For The TV.
Did You Know That In Some Civilizations, There Are No Words For "War" Or "Wrong"? There Are Still Some Languages Like That In Countries Such As Africa. The Children There Do Not Fight, They Are United.
Maybe The Problem Is Television.
I Have No Idea. Because Maybe It Isn't. Not All Channels Are Violent.
Perhaps It Is How We Raise Children? I Do Not Know The Asnwer To This Either.
Perhaps It Is Up To Us, The NExt Generation? Ah, That Is A Nice Thought, Isn't It? :)
I Love How You Told The Ideas Of War Through Nemo's Eyes, And How You Were Able To Make Her Sing Without Making It Corny, Like Other Countless Authors Have Done.
Thank You For That.
And Thank You For That Story And All Your Others Including My Favorite Young Justive OC, Nemo.

I'm not usually a fan of song-fics but omg this was beautifully written. Simply AMAZING. I especially liked the Superboy part, but that may only be because he's my fav character in YJ hehe :D
HEY I watched that video on youtube, it WAS pretty awesome, even though I haven't watched some of the movies that were in the clips like the Wonderwoman one and the Crisis of Two Worlds one. I totally spazzed watching it lol
in return, here's a youtube video of the same song, except its a tribute only to Young Justice!

I really loved this story it fit perfectly with the lyrics of the song, and really connected with a lot of the scenes from the video.
And yes, it was DEFINITELY Nemo-worthy! The main reason why I love your Nemo-stories is because they're so deep, they're personal and understanding to the feelings that everyone has had at one point or another in their life.
The anger, the despair, the helplessness and loss we feel, we've all been there. But we've also felt the happiness, the laughter, the sense of calm and safety.
Its these kind of feelings that keep us together, if only for a moment.
Please continue to write more with Nemo! :D
