This is beautiful 3 What an ending to the series, and what an ending to your series of poems! :-)

"It is said a man can show no greater love

Than to be willing to lay down his life for his friend

House has put aside what little he held dear

So he may comfort Wilson at the uncertain end"

Anyone who ever had a friend knows that this poem speaks volumes of truth. A friend like Wilson is more than anything, thicker than blood- they are bonded brothers.

The fog in my brain is lifting. I liked this now. Next week, more. It was so House, to sacrifice his own wellbeing to save another stranger. But nooo, he doesn’t care. It was just the puzzle, I forgot.

I think this new one is my favorite poem of yours.

Not only because it makes me think about the show, but because if you remove the names, the poem still stands as strong on it's own with the message of legendary friendship and how everything must come to an end- yet memories never die.

So true. There is no relationship like House and Wilson's.

I was really anticipating this episode and wondering how it would all turn out. But now that i've seen what happens, i'm reading this with a different perspective and it takes on a whole new tone.

Amazing poem :) Gets me really excited about tonight's episode!

"What is it Wilson is looking for?

What does he hope to find?

Is it one last hurrah in this big wide world?

Or a quiet corner with a little peace of mind?"

So beautifully phrased. I love the way you were able to put into words all the feelings that the characters and the audience experienced. Also love the play on words with the title.
