I just tried to review the final chapter but my son hit my keyboard and sent a number 1 and now it won't let me submit another review for it :( Plus he deleted everything I'd written so now I have to try to remember it...
I am finally getting time to catch up on some reading and reviewing :) I am so sad to see this come to an end - I was really disappointed to realise that you'd reached the end of the story, I wanted more! I loved the fact that this story had a different tone to many of your others because your writing style is so adaptable, you can pull off any kind of style so well. I loved this story and certainly don't mind a bit of darkness!
Although, that having been said, I am glad they all got a happy ending of course - and so good to see Gene able to keep his team :) I'm really going to miss this story, it's been one of my favourites. Thank you so much for writing this and letting us share in this journey x

Aww. Really sad this story is over. Great story-telling, great dialogue and you really captured the Gene and Alex relationship as it should have been. Marvellous stuff.

This line had me in a heap of laughter on the floor. You wrote Gene so wonderfully in this chapter! :)

Poor Gene! But I do like the fact that you had Sam take him up t Farringfield Green before. It's what a proper best friend would have done!

This was a fantastic update! I had tears in my eyes when Gene andAlex were standing at his grave but I couldn't suppress a little giggle at Gene's Christmas wish :p
Please write more soon...I hope Alex doesn't forget and let someone come between her and Gene.
