For me it wasn't so much the fact he killed Amy. I figured that maybe he had to. My thought was what if her creepy ** son Jacob got sick again? She would have had to kill again right? Dean did what he had to do. My problem with Dean was what a hypocrite he was. He had just lectured to Sammy about how lying and secrets were a bad thing yada yada yada... Then he goes and keeps this humdinger. Then a freakin blabbermouth leviathan was the one to rat him out! Not to mention Dean looked Sammy straight in the face and told him he trusted him. All he was telling Sammy is "I really don't trust you. I was just placating you." I am however so happy they talked it out and now it's over. That is awesome.
As always I loooved your take on it! I swear I always do a little happy dance whenever I see you've written a new Fanfic! You never dissapoint.

yeah, this is way, way better than what the TV writers cooked up. It seems they've managed to sweep Sam's lack of sanity under the carpet, right there with Dean's recovery from Hell. I don't think it's entirely their fault; that's TV but your coda here gives a stronger depth to the characters than Sam turning cold and disappearing for a full week. Is it just me, or was it better when Sam depended on Dean more? Cuz it sure seems like Sam doesn't need Dean and that puts distance between the brothers.

Skipping throwing daisies in the air. Love this story. When I saw Sam walk away I screamed, "No, not again. GO AFTER HIM DEAN!" So I'm glad you wrote the next scene that way.

Thanks for this. This would be a scene perfect for the beginning of next episode. Not brushed under the rug, but a start for the boys to deal with this situation and heal...together. The wording was perfect..mentioning Dean being stone number one. I know that has been part of what's held Sam together(their conversation in the warehouse). Glad to know someone else feels the same. I would love to see this(or something similar) to start next episode. Guess we'll see.

This is just perfect. I hope Dean goes after him right away and they work it out. Sam needs that moment to just breathe, even if it's just a moment. There's never much doubt when Sam forgives - it's fast and furious.

You know, I really loved that you mentioned Dean being "stone number one". It struck me that he said that to Sam and then he took that first building block away. Sam must be feeling that. He's been doing so well... I wonder if this will be a step back.

Great tag, very believable. Do hope we get something like this in the show as we really need to see the boys talk. So not good they could be separated with the leviathans gaining on them.
