Good work on this story.
Can you do more combining cartoons with the game Eternal Darkness?
I feel that a movie that came out recently, known as Paranorman would definitely work with it.

This review is for the entire story.
To put it simple, I came into this expecting it to be junk, but was instead treated to a brilliant blend of two vastly different worlds that left me awestruck by the end.
To put it elaborate, I had skimmed through each letter group of MLP: FIM crossover fanfiction making mental notes as to which ones I thought would be unique, with yours being one of them. It didn't take long to recognize the author had invested a lot of time and energy into writing this fic, so I decided to reward such devotion by reading through the entire thing. I'm glad I did. before I read this story, I never would've seen how the aspects of both worlds fit together so well. Examples include, but are not limited to, the ancients' natures matching with each type of pony, the secrets of Roivas mansion being echoed in Twilight's discovery of the hidden room, and the Rune system from Eternal Darkness made sense in the MLP universe as it kind of echoed the Elements of Harmony in that both are supernatural artifacts embed with astounding power. What I also loved was how you gave plausible explanations for certain things in the MLP world being caused by the Tome of Eternal Darkness, like Luna being corrupted by the ancient's magic and turning into Nightmare Moon as a result. Another (albeit smaller) one was revealing who lived in the Ponyville library prior to Twilight. Lastly, you did a great job at staying true to each and every character from both worlds in personality, ability, and nature. Examples include, but are once again not limited to, Mantorok having a knack for manipulating the flow of reality for its own benefit, Twilight being a bookworm despite being corrupted, Applejack being the de facto second in command of the mane 6, and lastly Fluttershy being willing to brave up and be a hero when needed.
A last couple of things before I end this. I loved how you came up with original Rune combinations to help expand the possibilities of what their magic could bring to the story. Lastly, what really took the cake for me was when you seamlessly incorporated the Cupcakes creepypasta into the story. Re-imagining it as a Sanity Effect from the game was pure genius, and the way Pinkie acts in your version of it was great dark comedy (i.e. licking Rainbow Dash like a child molester).
I rate this crossover fanfic 5 out of 5 stars. Well done sir, you've definitely earned it. My only wish is that more people could be exposed to this and read it. This could easily reach My Little Dashie levels of popularity within the MLP: FIM fandom, especially among bronies.

Nice pacing so far. Don't know why the hell no one else is reviewing this.
