Good job! This piece works really well because of how the poem verses are interspersed throughout the story. The themes of life and death it imparted were interesting, especially when you got to Knives's POV - he wants to "smother" humans in "the Grave," while Vash wants to "snatch [them]" with "an Angel's arm"(couldn't help thinking of the big cannon when I read that, lol).
Oh, and this was the best line:
/ But he would show them... he would burn their blasphemous fantasies of human "immortality" in their faces. /
So diabolical, yet poetic. :D
