Considering you had writer's block (a horrible burden, I do sympathize) I think you did very well with this chapter. It successfully sums up the next few episodes of the Avatar series, which shows you are moving along nicely, and not dwelling so much on the little things that we're all dead long before you can finish it. You're neatly emphasizing all the original parts that you added on without mudding up the story. It's great work, really. I like how Iroh is sneaking around a little more, and how he has a greater impact on events that occur. It really should have been like that anyways. He's gotta be the most awesome character. I'm a little sad we couldn't have more detail and dialogue with Bumi, but you did have to get this chapter posted, so I understand. I liked his last statement though. It made me laugh. Hopefully the conclusion of this chapter will give you some momentum to overcome the dreadful writer's block and get another chapter or two posted before summer's end. I honestly do enjoy reading this story adaptation. It's far from over though, and certainly will be a huge challenge for you, but I won't give up on it, because I know you have the will to finish it. I still believe this to be the magnum opus of fanfics you have written so far. Appreciation and encouragement. Keep it going! You're doing great! D

The hate i have for canon pairing (mostly zuko) can not be described with simple words. It honestly makes me stop reading stories, this one though, i can not ignore due to the interesting story line!
Also notcied that you said pairings would not be set in stone so that keeps me happy.

I'm really loving Zuko in this, with all the intuition and gut feelings and trying to rationalize it all. Sokka and Katara are just a lot more faceted here, more lifelike, with the slang for the enemy, the wariness, the anger. It's fascinating. Great job.
