This was not boring at all. I agree that the ending to Inheritance was tragic. Not weepy eyed tragic, but a hole in the middle of your chest tragic. I've started searching for fanfics to make up for the ending (though I think it was written well, I just wish Arya or Murtagh had accompanied him). This is the first one I've come across that I've enjoyed, so good job!

that was great, exactly how I felt after finishing Inheritance...it was absuloutly amazing, but I cried because it was over...
you capture the mood perfectly, your description paints the scene in our heads, and the beautiful dialogue takes care of the rest. overall, a fantastic little story :) well done

Don't you just hate how dry that book ended? I was depressed. We fanfic authors have out work cut out trying to squeeze a happy ending from this one.
