Great conversation for Keith and Veronica to finally have, I think we ask question who Lilly would have grown up to be, if she'd be Veronicas friends still. Love love love Mac and Weevil in this story! So glad her mom was happy for her. Some space for LOVE is going to be hard, but probably for the best to give them a real chance. Great writing, plot, and pacing!

I agree that what Duncan did was rape. Now Veronica needs to think and decide what to do although it's not easy to change your feelings for some people. I hope Veronica won't need too much time away from Logan and that they won't break up. I'm very surprised about Richard Casablanca's actions I don't know what to think about it he should have stayed with their sons. And Logan rebuilding his house is a good idea this can give Logan something to think and Weevil going with him to see Aaron is a wicked and funny idea. I'll wait patiently until your next sequel.

Well, I'm a little bummed the story is over, but I'm excited about the sequel and your continuation of this new AU world. And mostly I've got to say I really liked Keith's stance on Duncan. When this show was first run oh so long ago my husband and I disagreed a lot about Duncan. I always maintained that what he did was wrong too. I like that Logan will continue to live with Weevil. You did a good job of giving this story a sense of completion while still leaving some story lines loose.

Better yet, have a love triangle with Dick. Don't decide now. Decide later in future chapters. For now, make it Weevil and Mac.

This was such a wonderful chapter! I'm not a huge MaDi shipper, but I've always enjoyed reading stories (especially yours) that showed who Dick could be with Mac. But I have to say that I love the Weevil/Mac storyline you have created. I'm looking forward to seeing you explore that in your sequel. I agree with the concerns you had Keith raise about Duncan. I always thought that Rob Thomas and company let him off too easily. It never seemed right that Veronica would have gone back and dated Duncan in her senior year. Thank you for this marvelous story - it had been such a joy to read.

What Keith said was pretty much right but kind of sad.
About Logan not Duncan cause i agree with him about Duncan. I am a firm believer though as much of a ass Logan was to V. That he really thought she was drunk not excusing what he did. I agree on the lily part if she were alive and behaved like she does V would have grown tired of it. As for Weevil or Dick. I really cant choose i like them both. A slight edge to Dick cause he is funny and does funny things. Wonderful story and thanks for sharing.

Oh, I loved this chapter :-) The Logan/Weevil conversation about relationships and jealousy was really funny...who knew that they'd be taking advice from each other?! I always loved the Mac/Veronica relationship...nice to seem them be normal and just have some girl time together and some fun :-) Gotta love Keith in this chapter - doesn't hold back...some home truths that Dick Senior needed to hear, although am not too sure if he actually heard anything Keith was saying! And lastly, Logan's present to Veronica has GOT to be THE BEST birthday gift EVER! And along with their declarations of love for each other...I gotta agree with Veronica...best night of her life...and quite possibly Logan's as well!

This was a great chapter, we got some Eli/Mac time and we know more is to come, we got Keith telling off Big Dick (YEAH) and ended with romantic Logan and Veronica time. I appreciate everyone's advice to Mac about Dick, if he hasn't ever had a female friend before, I don't think it would take long for him to have a crush on her if she let them get close. I am sure Mac can't imagine that so many men could be interested in her, but in a place like Neptune, what she has to offer is intriguing, and being genuinely nice is a rarity. Can't wait for the last chapter, and yet don't want it to end. :)

I like this chapter I love the time that you put in for Veronica and Logan's date on her birthday it was really sweet and they are both so happy and in love. I hope Keith exposes Richard's Sr fraud. I loved Weevil being jealous of Dick. I also love the camaraderie between Logan and Weevil. And I loved loved loved that Veronica told Logan that she loves him, he deserves to hear it, their night together was beautiful.

I think people, especially Veronica (although I understand her being kind of irrational about the situation), are being a little hard on Dick. It's pretty clear he was just following his dad's lead on how to treat his brother. He only just realized that his father is a jerk who doesn't actually care about Cassidy, so he probably never learned where line is between good-natured teasing and comments that are mean or hurtful. His biggest problem is that he doesn't think things through before he does them. It was wrong and stupid to leave Veronica in that bedroom, but it's clear from his response to Logan's accusations that he understands what rape is and never believed his brother would commit such an act.
