Haw, I couldn't stop grinning at the part where she mistakes Vilkas for Farkas. Although it's an honest mistake, because twins ARE hard to tell apart. I had a pair in my class for a whole year and I still can't tell them apart, haha.

I really like it so far. Good to see a main character that is unwilling to fight for once. Although it seems she may have a split personality when it comes to destruction magic. It'll be fun to see where you go with the memory lapse plot line.
On another note, I remember trying to join the giant fight with my mage. Didn't go quite as swimmingly as Marina's experience, I must say. I ended up accidentally burning Aela and being chased all the way to Whiterun by the trio. Farkas got a few decent whacks in with his great sword before I was able to outrun them. Haha.

I got a little lost when Ralof led her out of Riverwood, consider adding a sentence where they leave Gurder's home. But nonetheless, an overall well written chapter.

Awesome! I adore your Mage, I can already see the pairing in my mind, cute tiny mage with beefy Farkas, sweet. Though I will admit that I hope Marina grows more of a backbone by hanging around the Companions. It would be great character growth, watching her go from almost passing out at an execution to kick butt Mage.I was hoping there would be some good Farkas based fanfiction, too. I'm tied between him and Ulfric as favorites. Well, keep up the good work, can't wait to read more!

Very nice, your really good at descriptive writing, and the slight alterations here and there are nice, I assume some of the non-Marina talk was altered. Personally, I'm a Nord male, so I found myself role playing that scene as a man prepared to face his death or something.
