I very much enjoyed this story, and all the work you put into it. that really was a touching line of her knowing "what that far distant ancestress had felt, and indeed all the girls who had danced with B'den in those times." That truly sums up the kind of deep time and change they have seen.

Very nice and fun last few chapters! I think that the tension is increasing at a very good pace, and I look forward to the conclusion- but I do hope for a finale for those coming forward and the families which have kept the faith.

I think this is perhaps your best chapter yet! The dialogue rings true and there is a good amount of subtle conflict around the back-story. Nice plot point in having Robinton and Menolly pick up that they aren't getting the whole story through the (non) completion of verse.
Keep up the good work, and I'm eagerly looking forward to the next chapter.

Wonderful story. Starting 400 turns ago to present pass. I am intrigued where this is going but I can imagine, which I generally get wrong, which is why I am only a reader not a writer. I eagerly await more chapters and more stories. Thankyou
