Oh, I know the feeling of not getting any 'happy birthday's... Once, I went to school and it was my birthday, and no one apart from one boy (he and I share the same birthday) and my closest friend wished me 'happy birthday'. That was very depressing x''D And my birthday is just four days from yours, it seems! 12-12 is mine xD

I noticed one outstanding typo, if you can say that. "He set the car aside and took..." The car? Huh. Didn't know they had cars in that time... Look out for such typos. You tend to sometimes forget a letter, sometimes a whole word. Read your stories closely before posting them to avoid such things :) But as I fellow writer, I know you can't find all the mistakes, so.. Yesh. Ah.

A sweet oneshot :) A biiit OOC in my opinion, but.. Pft. I think these characters are hard to keep in character. Tsk, tsk.

Wow.

First of all, sorry your birthday was so terrible. But second, thank you so much for writing this! It was amazing. I love how Merlin finally lost his temper. So much happens to him and he never breaks - I'm glad that you did here. So realistic considering everything he was going through.

And I loved how Arthur came to apologise. That was so sweet. And he even had him a present! Sure, Arthur didn't know when Merlin's birthday was, but at least he'd thought to get him something.

And oh my gosh! You threw THAT bombshell in right at the end. Arthur knows! Wow, just wow. Enjoyed this so much, thank you! :) Really brightened my day. Happy belated birthday!
