Oh. This was so... Perfectly them. It was perfect and I love it and he's beautiful. She's adorable too. I loved the 'drunk words are sober thoughts' line too. That's all I cam=n remember, but I loved the whole thing. Amazing.

This is one again so beautiful. Perfect reflection of Luke's thoughts through knowing Lorelai. I love the way you wrote the ending and beginning in particular. The little details he remembers, like the book Rory was reading when he first went to the Crap Shack, are especially striking.
"He remembers the way she thanks him, sincere words and shy eyes. It was so unlike her, the whilr of dark hair and caffeine that he saw every day that he stared at her blankly for a solid two minutes before clearly his throat and saying good-bye.
He remembers going home, looking at the empty spot where Rachel was supposed to be and being only able to focus on the smile of a different girl."
Gahh. My heart just melted at the last line. Great job capturing Luke beginning to get to know the Lorelai beyond her facade.
"He f*cked it up, in the end. He let her go.
He doesn't want to remember this part."
In those three short sentences, you have better conveyed Luke's emotions about the angst brought on by the middle of Season Six to Season Seven better than the TV show. Reminds me again why I love FF and Java stories.
"He remembers the first time he came to her house. That first shy smile is echoed on her face. Light as a feather, he pushes one of her curls back.
He etches this moment in his mind forever. He'll always remember this too."
This brought tears to my eyes. Great way tying both the ending and beginning of the story together (and possibly my favorite ever fan fiction portrayal of LL immediately after their wedding). Really, really well done.
