for Magic in the Stars5/9 c53 Leo Prism
This must have been the first novel-length fanfiction I ever read and still is one of my favourites. Pacing, tension and character development are great (most of the time) and it is just so touching - especially the end. The OCs (there are two, the protagonist and antagonist) fit well and have a backstory which is quite an interesting idea; however, the mane six and other canon ponies play their role, too - not to mention several nice cameos.
The showdown is epic and resolves into a somewhat predictable, but nonetheless beautitul end. I highly recommend this story to everypony who likes Princess Luna.

Loved it! I literally cried when Starfall was dying, so hard I couldn't read. I will say that the use of the comet for magic was relatively obvious, but no less powerful because of it. Loved loved loved it! Wish it was a book so more people would find it.

Ugh easy just call cosmo out on his bullshit he says that he's doing this for revenge for his little sister. Just be like why the fuck would your little sister want you to ever become a mass murderer you be doin this shit for yourself not for her she's already resting in peace knowing that her big brother came for her. Also an explanation on how news travels and that it isn't instant it would take an entire day if moving at the fastest speed possible for news to reach their than another for relief effort to form and get there and thats moving with incredible haste. Cosmo just a punk bitch. honestly though his best bet would be to get the drop on cosmo beat him senseless and then hope that the power of love works on luna. Be Ruthless!

Hello...first this was most enjoyable to read. I'm not a huge MLP fan but I have always been intrigued by Princess Luna. You wrote her flawlessly, and this story was a page turner from start to finish. The ending was brilliant, as was this entire story...I hope to see a sequel soon.

I know its been a while since this chapter was posted, but I couldn't help but notice you said something about Mass Effect in the author's notes. Isn't that the game where you can get pretty friendly with some aliens and there's this one reaaaaallly old alien who's like 800 years old and when you get frisky with eachother, she kills you due to her sheer power level?
