A fine way to wrap this up. Sunsets and happily-ever-afters don't belong in Terra Nova-it's a far too unpredictable place. This, however, fits. It's certain and uncertain all at once, and as honest and real as these two can be.
And it is well-written, communicating everything effectively (and with minimal language, just like the two people that inspired it). Very nicely done; thank you for posting it.

I adored the black and white and then the HA JUST JOKING, WASH IS A TROLL IS IS MAKING YOU DREAM GREY AND REDS. HOPE YOU DON'T MIIIIND. But you know, in a more beautifully worded way. Cuz, you know, I don't feel like you would have gotten away with 'Yo dudes, he dreamt in black and white, tripy i know, but get this. He now dreams...GREY AND RED! BAAAHAHAHAHAHA!' Ya... no xD. THUS. Definitely loved that Taylor wasn't going to fully trust Mira. It gave it a realistic feel as opposed to 'OH HEY, YOU TOOK OVER MY HOME BEFORE BUT SINCE YOU'RE HELPING ME OVERTHROW MY SON, YOU CAN LEAD THE WAY BACK AND EVACUATE MY PEEPS' xD So I am glad you took the approach you did :)
So, let me just tell you that from the moment Wash counted four, to the VERY FRIGGIN END, I was entranced and couldn't stop reading, as you know. It was all so 'OMG WHATS GUNNA HAPPEN?' and even tho i knew the outcome, I NEEDED to know how it was going to get there and i did and it was FRIGGIN AMAZING. I loved that she got her memory back. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. AND AND AND NOT GUNNA LIE. WHEN SHE LOOKED UP AND SAID, YOU'RE WRONG, I IMAGINED EPIC MUSIC AT THAT POINT AND THEN GUUUUUUH. THERE ARE A THOUSAND THINGS I LOVED ABOUT THIS. And you tied it in all perfect and it was all so perfect and HOT DAMN, GURL. This was a fabulous story and I thank you for sticking with it. Well.. I thank Zapf and her perfect icons XD. But you wrote it and it was so wonderful and if you ever stop writing I will march over to the West side and we will leave the rest open for if that time comes. Which it wont. Ha. Cuz... it wont.

How do you do these things to meeeeee? I got all wibbly and emotional at the end there because it was just. so. perfect.
I am now, if I wasn't before, convinced that it's a good thing we're not getting a second season. Because there's no way it could have been half as well crafted, as well written, as well realised as this. Your characterisation continues to astound, especially Lucas, who was exactly as insane and real as he should be. And that Wash would turn to Taylor when he's in pain is so perfect. Ahh.
And sniper!Wash! How I love her. I love her and I love Jim, all hunkered down and taking out the bad guys with snark and awesome.

I don't have the worrrrrrrrds. Other than that I am so overjoyed you made it through another chapter unscathed and that it was so perfect. I read it on the journey to work and it just went in a heartbeat because I was so entranced.
(Although really, really after all they've been through, you're terribly cruel for the comm unit interruption)
I love that she and Jim are basically going to snarkily ass kick their way to saving the day. That's a team you want at your back when things go south. Because hey, they'll make you laugh while you're bleeding out I guess.

This is an amazing and very unique storyline, you manage to write them very much in character and it´s fascinating to see Wash functioning without her memories, she´s somehow more herself than before, less reservations and more inclined to speak her mind about things.
I´m looking forward to see what will happen when (if) she gets her memories back, if she stays that way or if she´ll go back to her former restrained version- very good job!
