I can really see where Emily is coming from here, it must be hard to adjust to such a jolly holiday, when her past ones have been less than ideal, and she is always alone. Your decriptions were wonderful, and I could almost see the scene play out in my mind - if only that could be part of an episode... In my dreams I guess :) Thank you for writing this, I really enjoyed it, and it was well worth the wait! :D
