That is quite peculiar. I would be freaked out if I were Jonesy. This was a good start, with all the suspense to bring the reader wanting more. I mean, I realyl want to know what's going on. Perhaps they all became supernatural monsters? Don't know yet, but eventually we will. I can't wait to read more, but no rush. If you feel like you have to update, the finishing 'product', or in this case chapter, might not end as well as you hoped. I'm just saying in general. It seems to happen like that. Keep writing!
