That was lovely! I really enjoyed the way you told it, as if you were simply explaining to someone the occurrence of a shooting star in the night sky. Your descriptions were beautiful and refreshing! Great work! :)

I admit I am puzzled as to why this doesn't have more reviews; it certainly deserves them. Nicely written piece, with wonderful imagery and lovely prose. It's good to see a narrative dedicated to one of those characters that are only fleetingly mentioned in Tolkien's works.
