This story is really interesting. It's been awhile since I've read something so well written on this site. A few minor typos here and there, but nothing major. As an aspiring author suffering a severe case of writer's block, I find myself encouraged by your story, as a good tale can hardly help but provide inspiration. Bravo. More please.

Very, very nice! I love Coraline, and this is just a great story! I noticed only a few minor grammar errors, but they don't take away from the story.

Wow, Mr. B was in the Russian military?! He's just gone up a few points on the badass meter. In the fight to come, will the mice play apart and will he have mines, bullets, and beets?
"Yeah." The Russian grinned, a mask for his fear. "I need to know how many landmines I'll need."
The Cat suddenly felt very worried. "I will have a house to come back to when this is all said and done, right?" His tail flicked in anticipation.
The Russian shrugged in a carefree manner. "Maybe yes… maybe no."
I hope for Mr. B's sake that he doesn't blow up the Pink Palace, as Miss Lovat will no doubt be less than amused when she returns to find her property a smoking crater. Will Wybie make an appearance?
