Oh my GOD! I love this story. It's so tender and beautiful. I think you've portrayed Dan and Tay really well and I love the little misunderstanding in the middle. Also the steamy bit is amazing, not too smutty but enough of the good stuff! Well done please do more fics of these two :)

Wow! This is really good. You were recommended to me by Laura Scofield. :D I really like it. I image that the reason Tayend has been drinking is cause he is nervous.

Thanks for the dedication, I'm so honoured to have such a wonderfully written fic dedicated to me! But it was YOU who wrote it and gave the whole story a very unique style, I had the easy part of dreaming up random ideas and reading the masterpiece when it was finished ;D
Firstly I have to say the title is lovely and so fitting, well done! I'll post in some parts I found really funny:
I thought you didn't want a relationship with me!" Dannyl cried.
"But, I thought you didn't want a relationship with me!" Tayend retorted.
There was a second of awkward silence.
"What?" the both said at the same time.
Those boys are SO silly XD I love how you captured that moment!
Dannyl felt himself melt into a puddle of happiness, his heart hammering wildly.
That's really appropriate, cos I melt into a puddle of fangirl happiness everytime I read this story ;D
"Good?" Tayend echoed in outrage. "All you have to say about my sexual prowess is that it's "good"? My pride is deeply wounded."
"Although, you weren't complaining about the ground back in Armje."
"Well, at least the grass was soft," Dannyl murmured shyly, feeling hea rise to his cheeks.
"Seems like we're going have to buy a better couch if we want our love nest to be perfect."
"Love nest?" Dannyl laughed incredulously.
"Well, that's what it is, isn't it?"
"I always thought this was a study room."
"Why must you be so boring, Dannyl?" Tayend said with mock exasperation.
I loved those parts, they were the funniest bits and had me grinning like an idiot :D You have a real talent for writing a variety of styles- serious type scenes like the argument, humour and banter in the conversation later on, and the way you expressed Dannyl's personal thoughts was exceptional, it was so logical, realistic and most of all it really brought Dannyl to life as a character, which isn't an easy thing to do at all in a fic! You went into a lot of detail in his thoughts, which sometimes could drag a fic down and make it a bit boring, but that was never the case in this story- you were justified in every single line of his thoughts which you included, and it all added up to flesh out Dannyl's character terrifically :D
You also managed to captured the essence of Tayend's character, and why we love him so much. He's passionate, but also understanding and thoughtful, and it was really clear in this story that he and Dannyl are a perfect match - Tayend helps to bring out the upbeat side of Dannyl's personality :)
I have to repeat myself about the sexy parts - they so fantastically compliment each of the characters' personalities, you made the whole thing believable, adorable, and so romantic XD I could definately see things playing out exactly like this for them in real life (ok, I just proved my Dan/Tay insanity there, clearly I think they are real... what am I saying, they ARE real ;D) I wish I had a quarter of your magnificent ability to write such perfect intimate scenes! If I did though, I'd be posting so many fics on FF. net that I'd break the site lol
I can't wait for you to write more fics, and its an absolute honour to Beta for such a talented and genuinely lovely writer!
