Seriously though, this was beautiful. (And I thought I was done with holiday gifts when my last cards came in the mail last week.) The writing and the DIALOGUE and that GODDAMN GORGEOUS EXTENDED METAPHOR (don't think I didn't appreciate that) was all very wonderful. And I'll admit that I teared up. A lot.
