That was beautiful. Well done. I wish your epilogue was the actual epilogue in Mockingjay.

I loved this. I just finished reading the third book last night, and I find myself also loving the boy with the snares a little more than the boy with the bread. I did love Peeta, but I loved Gale a little more. Good job on a great story. :o)

Oh God. I'm sorry. I'm just. I'm really emotional right now considering I just cried twice in the past ten minutes. This was... depressing and sad. I can actually feel their pain and their sorrow. It's... You did well. You managed to portray and convey their emotions perfectly. This was amazing.

Even though I actually liked Peeta better than Gale in the first two books, I think Gale might have won out over me.
I really really wasn't a fan of book three, the war and all was fine, but the ending, and the way she killed off some of the characters (or made them disappear in Gale's case) was terrible.
This disappointment in the ending of book three led me to fanfiction, where I was able to read your story, and appreciate an alternate take on the ending. While it doesn't fix the horrible mess book three did the the series, it sure helped make it a little more bearable!
- To the boy with the snares, and to your story, which has a much better ending than the original! :)

Definitely in character, and an interesting alternative take on the story. Peeta's burial scene was great. Nice work! Keep writing.
